advice for transgender people on submitting application photos
We never share or publish your photos. When you upload photos, they are sent over to our server with 2 layers of encryption, stored on a secure disk, and are accessible only by the people who review your application. They are used only to evaluate your application and verify your identity. We require an additional authorization from you to be able to use them in your portfolio, should you wish. These photos (along with all other records we have of you) will be deleted upon your request.
Please complete the photo set that corresponds to your genitalia. We will happily work with you on how you want to present yourself after the initial application (if comfortable, please tell us a bit about this in the application), and we respect everyone's identities.
We highly recommend you submit every photo we request. There are four that are not strictly required: the two full body undergarment photos and the two optional additional photos. We like the undergarment photos as they enable us to use them internally when full nudity is not required. If you choose not to submit the undergarment photos, we will use the nude photos until the intro appointment. The optional additional photos are a way to differentiate yourself. You can show off a special talent, your favorite part of your body, or really anything you would like. Of course, you may submit without them if you would prefer.
As you normally would. Dress and groom as you typically would, this is not supposed to be production quality.
Absolutely. Most application photos are taken by the applicant on their phone, and we have no expectation of studio-quality products. Please read the General Tips section.
Do not edit the photos. This means no cropping, filtering, color grading, or anything else. We know this is a homemade photograph, you do not need to look perfect.
You may not submit any photos that have other people in it, even if the other people are fully clothed. Please take a new photo.
